Great question. Psychology focuses on talk therapy and emotional support through relational and behavioral approaches. Psychiatry typically involves medical treatment and medication management. We are not prescribers but happy to collaborate with your healthcare team if needed.
Our approach allows your story to unfold gently, at your pace. Whether through words, images, or body-based practices, we help you process overwhelming experiences, build regulation tools, and reframe limiting beliefs. Healing doesn’t mean erasing pain—it means creating new relationships with it.
While we strive to do our best for every client, sometimes we might not be the right match for each other. Say something, and we can provide a diverse referral list to make sure that you find the right fit to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
We typically meet weekly, especially at the start. That said, therapy is a collaborative process. We’ll discuss frequency based on your needs, goals, and what feels sustainable.

Absolutely. Our Sketchbook track is designed especially for youth and families. Depending on age and developmental needs, sessions may include art, movement, storytelling, or games.
That’s okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll discuss your experiences, answer your questions, and co-create a path forward together.
